Watonga Teams Hit Hard by Cancellations

The boys and girls basketball teams saw only one game combined over the past week as several contests were postponed because of COVID-19 protocols. The girls, still ranked No. 17 in Class 2A, played an overtime thriller against No. 13 Cashion, but came up short in a 62-59 loss. The loss dropped the girls record to 9-4 on the season.
