A Lamp to My Feet

Greetings to all of the readers of this little column. Today, we will be looking at Romans 1:812. Paul writes to the Christians at Rome: “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers, making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you. For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.”

Hello again Everyone! Sure hope you all had a good week. I had quite a week again. My week started off pretty good. On Wednesday John and I went to Oklahoma City to our heart doctor for a regular check -up. John’s visit went fine, but when the doctor looked at mt ankles and said” collecting to much fluid”, and I told him about my visit to the ER for chest pain, he decided to do a stress test, which I failed. He quickly had me scheduled for surgery the next day. They fixed me up on Thursday and sent me home on Friday. I’m doing really good, and feel good, so I’ll probably be back at the Center Tuesday.

We are coming right along with the repainting of the back wall, still a lot to do and a lot more to come. We plan on holding off with the rest of the repainting till spring as the weather is getting colder, but planning on taking care of the windows during the winter. As much as we love the help we are getting from Oklahoma City we would love some right here at home help as well come spring. So don't wait til spring come by and let us know you want to help come spring as we will be tackling the biggest parts of the house then show some home town pride and come lend a hand.

By the time this paper prints, I will be gone, headed West to take a different job opportunity. Part of the decision was we love the mountains, part of it that my husband’s health can no longer take Oklahoma summers.
