Geary P.D. Set to Install New Security Measures

Geary City Council met in regular session June 7. Tabbitha Kiener, Craig Wright, Trey Carter and Mayor Bobby Allen were in attendance. John Burns was absent.

Following establishment of a quorum, the council heard financial reports from Linda Woodruff, who does the accounting for the city.

She noted that the cash on the balance sheet was up from one year ago, but 55 percent was in restricted funds. The accounts receivable -- money owed to the city – has dropped to its normal range of $160,000 to $180,000, while the accounts payable – money the city owes -- was down by a third when compared to one year ago.
