Geary Sees Sales Tax Drop for Month of January

The City of Geary (Blaine and Canadian Counties combined) saw around an $1,292.45 decrease in sales tax revenue and net taxable sales for the month of January, according to an Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC) report released this past week.

The January distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission primarily represents local tax receipts from November business. Companies that remit more than $2,500 monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically.
