Geary’s Gateway to the West Threatened by ODOT Review

As you head west, the lush green forests of Eastern Oklahoma slowly begin to disappear as vast prairies, plateaus and rolling hills take their place. For much of the 20th Century Americans in Southern Blaine County were introduced to this transforming landscape by historic Route 66 and, since 1933, by the old Pony Bridge.
